Abstract

With the passing of each decade the depletion rate of Fossil Fuels is rapidly growing. The presence of pollutants in
the air has crossed its safety value in various places. The growth rate of technology has doubled with each passing
decades. Modernization has led to introduction of new and better technology with respect to safety, health and
comfort. One of the speediest growing sector is the transport sector. The bicycle being aenvironment friendly
transport by itself is said to overpower all fossil fueled vehicles in the near future. Our Project is based to make this
method of transportation comfortable to use for all age groups without taking away its environment friendly nature.
This project is focused on designing and fabricating a Solar-Hybrid Electric Bicycle which would also include a
tracking feature adding safety measure for the owner. The project report is a summary of detailed study of electric
powered vehicles, the choice and reason for the components used and the procedure of constructing a solar powered
Motor driven Hybrid bicycle with reduction in cost.It also contains a future plan of vehicle Tracking as a measure of
safety which sends the co-ordinate of its physical location to the owner/user.
