Abstract

The internationalization of higher education is the inevitable trend of the development of higher education in the 21st century. Cross-cultural communication is the most basic form of cultural connection among different countries, nationalities and religions in the process of internationalization of higher education. Promoting the internationalization of basic education has also become an important measure of modernization and openness of education in China. The core issue of College Foreign Language Teaching Pattern for cultivating intercultural communication competence is the reform of teaching concept, curriculum and teaching method. By establishing the concept of multiculturalism and two-way intercultural communication, we are wary of cultural hegemonism and the lack of Chinese culture; establishing a core curriculum The internationalization of higher education has brought new challenges and requirements to foreign language teachers in colleges and universities. Studies have shown that in order to meet new challenges and adapt to new requirements, foreign language teachers in colleges and universities should have the following qualities or abilities: classroom teaching ability; research and innovation ability; traditional culture cultivation; cross-cultural communication ability.
