The Influence of Entrepreneurial Orientation Through Innovation on the Performance of Indonesia Fish Cultivator Micro Enterprise

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze (1) the influence of entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of the fish cultivator micro enterprise; (2) The influence of innovation on the performance of the fish cultivator micro enterprise; (3) The influence of entrepreneurship orientation on performance through the innovation of fish cultivator micro enterprise Entrepreneurial orientation is measured through an innovative, proactive, and risk-taking perspective. Innovation is measured through the perspective of product innovation, process innovation, market innovation and drivers. Performance is measured through a balanced scorecard perspective. The method in this study used an explanatory method with data collection techniques through a questionnaire consisting of variable indicators with a rating scale of 1 to 5. A total of 241 fish cultivator micro enterprises were selected as research objects. The collected data were processed using Path Analysis with SPSS software. The results showed that (1) entrepreneurial orientation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the fish cultivator micro enterprise; (2) Innovation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the fish cultivator micro enterprise; (3) Entrepreneurial orientation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the fish cultivator micro enterprise through innovation. Innovation is one of the important factors to improve micro enterprise performance by encourage entrepreneurial orientation.
