The Effect of Training and Career Development on Employee Performance in the Investment Office of West Java

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how much influence training and career development programs on employee performance in the Office of Investment and Integrated Services One Door West Java. The population in this study was all civil servants working in the One Door Integrated Investment and Service Office of West Java Province which numbered 127 people. Then, sampling techniques in this study used proportional stratified random sampling with the number of samples taken as many as 49 people. Meanwhile, data collection techniques are carried out through interviews and the distribution of questionnaires given to employees as respondents. Meanwhile, the data analysis method used in this study is a double linear regression analysis by way of calculation and analysis of the data using the help of statistical package for social science (SPSS) ver program. 20.00. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the training and career development program can have a positive and significant effect on the improvement of employee performance in the West Java One Door Integrated Investment and Service Office.
