Abstract

Future generation wireless communication systems guarantees end to end QOS with transparent
and seamless user roaming. Therefore, the interoperability has become a crucial necessity of various
communication platforms. This paper briefs about the major 4 G features and discusses about the
significance of interoperability aspects and its role in the 4 G developments. In addition , The paper
summarizes the 4G concerns and also discusses the research issues and challenges pertaining to it.
