Efficient Channel Allocation Method for Enterprise Networks Using Linear Optimization

Abstract

Efficient utilization of spectrum is the major task for many service providers. the major factors
that seperates the networks as efficient networks among enterprise networks are low latency, high
throughput etc. The network must be immune to congestion among the users at the same time must
efficently utilize the available spectrum so as to reduce the starvage of users for channel. Linear
optimization methods can be used to optimally allocate the channels available among the users without any
congestion. A model has been proposed to anaslyse channel allocation scenario for bulk networks. The
mechanism provides optimum utilization of resources with low latency and reduced congestion among the
users. Also presented the bottlenecks in the heavily deployed networks and analysed the problem with linear
optimization methods .
