Study Of Thermal And Fluid Flow Characteristics In Radial Microchannel For Varying Size Of Inlet Plenum, Aspect Ratio And Fluid Flow Rate And Its Optimization By Using Response Surface Methodology
Abstract
: In this paper multi response optimization of flowing fluid parameter in micro channel has been analyzed by response surface methodology (RSM). Distinctive sizes were selected to radial microchannel heat sink with inlet plenum diameter of 10 mm, 20 mm and 30 mm with varying aspect ratio 4, 5 and 8 of the radial microchannels. The flow rate of flowing liquid variation are 0.25 lpm, 0.50 lpm and 0.75 lpm. The copper material is taken for radial micro channel. The pressure is increases significantly with increase in aspect ratio and flow rate which indicating that these are dominant factors. The velocity is inreases significantly with increase in flow rate. The Multi response optimization setting for radial micro channel parameters are aspect ratio 5.14, Diameter 10 mm, and flow rate 0.58 L/min.
