Abstract

With the change of market environment, the owner and contractor have new requirements for the breadth and depth of cooperation. From a single traditional cooperative relationship to a pattern of coexistence of traditional cooperative relationship and strategic cooperative relationship. This paper studies the decision-making problem of two kinds of cooperative relationship. Based on the theory of strategic cooperation and the theory of engineering project cooperation, this paper uses evolutionary game method to establish a game model for the selection of cooperation relationship between the owner and the contractor, and proposes a method to analyze the choice of cooperation strategy between the owner and the contractor in the long-term and multi project cooperation process. The research results show that: despite having a common project cooperation experience, in the long-term continuous cooperative evolutionary game, the choice of cooperation relationship strategies between the owner and the contractor would still appear unstable. The economic benefits that the cooperative relationship can produce determines the choice of cooperative relationship. In addition, in the long-term cooperation, the cost reduction coefficient and the incentive factors for future cooperation can promote the formation of strategic cooperation. This paper provides a theoretical basis for the owner and the contractor to establish a long-term cooperative relationship.
