Abstract

Securing Information in a digital image has varieties of techniques and more complex than others. Encryption and hiding the information are the two methods to protect the data as information security. There are several methods available for securing the data which can be transferred over the network. The proposed system implemented with key generation method using discrete wavelet transform algorithm for securing the data. Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) used to increase the contrast of an image for better visual quality of image. By performing the proposed method, the highest peak value of histogram is taken for embed the data into image for performance of histogram equalization and the same process is repeated simultaneously. The research proposes, the watermarking scheme based on least significant bit technique instead of embed the data into simple image as watermarking. This method is completely based on the spatial domain using LSB technique and Huffman method used for data security to embed the data into host image, which converts the secret information sequence to bit sequence for LSB operation. The proposed method is completely worked on three-dimensional (3D) image with world accessed format as .obj and the data is hidden and recovered successfully without any data or clarity of an image loss.
