A total of 11 well locations has been choosen in a Thellar village for analysis of groundwater quality for drinking and irrigation purposes. Analaysis shows groundwaters are alkaline, very hard, Fresh to brackish type. The concentration of TDS, sodium, nitrate, chloride, fluoride in groundwater shows that nearly 50 % of groundwater samples are not suitable for drinking purposes , WQI study reveals that more than 60% of samples fall in poor water category, it may be consume after the proper treatment. The irrigation parameters Sodium percentage (Na%), sodium absorption ratio (SAR) and Permeability Index(PI)  were calculated and it shows that majority of groundwater samples suitable for irrigation purposes.
