Cropped Rectangular Patch Antenna for Wireless Application

Abstract

In this study, a cropped rectangular patch microstrip antenna with various slots has been suggested to contribute an extended resistancebandwidth, besides to adequate antenna parameters for example (VSWR, S11). The structure of the microstrip antenna is fixed on the substrate with FR-4 type, thickness (h =1 .6mm), with relative permittivity (?r =4.30), and tangential-losses (tan ?=0 0.025). The simulation method is done using CST Microwave Studio Simulation. This antenna covers wideband (0.94GHz to 03.4GHz) therefore it is proper for a surgical system in telecom rule stations, this design meets the requirement of GSM and IMT purposes.
