Effects of grinding & sonication on electrical conductivity of CZTS employing impedance studies
Abstract
The internal resistance, quality of the interface response for Pt/CZTS/NaCl/Ag/AgCl/Pt and
thin film structures FTO/CZTS/Ag were explored utilizing Electrochemical Impedance Studies (EIS).
From EIS, we infer reduction in charge transfer process, domination of diffusion process, reduced
charge separation at CZTS/electrolyte interface and vanished charge separation at pores / electrolyte
with reduction in the particle size. The electrical conductivity of as prepared CZTS (350?&450?C)
were found to be 0.024 & 0.027S/cm and attributed to the less porous surface indicating the increased
recombination of the charge carriers.
