Abstract

The Implementation of Restorative Justice as an Alternative to the Settlement On Law
Enforcement of Criminal Offense by the Reason for Forgiveness. Law becomes the commander in
overcoming problems and under any conditions, without being influenced by anything. In this case,
the application of restorative justice as an alternative to settling the legal conflict between the victim
and the perpetrator, both of which rely on each other and understand that the problem can be
resolved in a simple approach and does not cost the expected that the loss and suffering experienced
by victims and their families can be recovered and the burden of guilt for the offender can be reduced
because the victim has received forgiveness from the victim or his family, this is intended as a form
of reason for forgiveness. Why is the Restorative Justice System an Alternative in Settlement of
Crimes? What is the Restorative Justice System Approach in Criminal Law Enforcement?
Restorative Justice itself has the meaning of restored justice, what is restored. Resolving criminal
cases both in the form of law enforcement and personnel of law enforcement officers will certainly
not give birth to justice if resolving a criminal problem only pays attention to one of the interests,
both the perpetrators and victims.
