Abstract

Bertalanffy-Richards model for forest growth and yield is considered to be one of the most popular model of this type, which was developed in 1973.  In this paper we shall carry out a statistical study on the growth pattern of the height and width of Indian Bamboo (Bambusa Tulda) using Bertalanffy-Richards model and partial sum. Further it is also analysed based on different signs of the parameters in different situations. This paper ends with a table constructed using the model and data of the height and width of Indain bamboo collected from different forest sites.
