Battery Charger for Electric Vehicle using AC-DC Converter
Abstract
Incremental growth of electric vehicle due to global climate change and air pollution is being more popular and its growth in modern economy plays a vital role. The uncertainties in battery charging in Electric Vehicle (EV) are resolved by the choice of converter to stabilize voltage requirement. This paper deals with landsman converter to initiate improvement in overall efficiency, by reducing the harmonics in the front end by raising power factor nearer to 1. The experimental analysis is carried out via simulation and the results are presented.
