Abstract

Presented paper introduces a multi-level DC to AC converter specifically for a broad set of output stages, he signed and implemented to minimize component count. It consists of floating dc input sources conversely linked by power switches with each other in orthogonal polarities. A growing level of input dc occurs either distinctly or even in additive phenomena with different input levels throughout the stepped voltage output. Compared to classical configurations, this method results in a decreased number of power switches. With the support of a separate- nine-level DC to AC, this topology's operating theory is shown. Via simulations, the topology is examined and experimentally tested on a laboratory model. An extensive comparison has been made of this topology against all the classic topology of the cascaded H-bridge.
