Abstract

Manual Drying process in tea industries occupies a lot of energy consumption with minimum production and the activities could be tiring and non-hygienic. This work has an idea of automation of such dryer unit to reach high production capacity and hygienic products, hence a Robust Repetitive Control Strategy (RRCS) is proposed for Air Heating System (AHS) which includes Air Heating Stove and Dryer in Tea industry through PI controller and a neuro model is developed for the given system.  This control structure guarantees the several drying parameters such as, temperature, dryer-leave tea moisture substance and fuel consumption are kept up at ideal states over the span of the drying procedure. It also adjusts the manufacturing cost by means of reducing the frequently feeding of woods. The experimental and simulation results show that the proposed control procedure gives better execution in all viewpoints
