Abstract

Recently, Covid-19 pandemic has been causing a large number of deaths as well as huge
economic losses all over the world. Future pandemics probably influence more and more especially in
developing countries due to their shortage in surveillance and healthcare resources. E-Health services
significantly helps detecting and reporting any potential pandemic through employing digital data to be
transmitted electronically labeled and retrieved local and distance sites. The implying of eHealth can solve
this problem but at the same time it is considered to be costly expensive, which developing countries are
prevented from using it due to their limited technical and financial resources. However, Smart-phones
communication technologies continually improve access to and the ability to be afforded eHealth services
even for the countries which have limited resources. Therefore, the present paper clarifies the way that a
Location tracking using Smart-phone devices can be employed in m-Health, which supposedly assist
covid-19 pandemic surveillance in developing countries.
