Abstract

Changes and transformations in the educational system landscape in Malaysia have made a massive impact on teachers who are the primary human resources of school organization. The introduction of the Malaysian Education Blueprint (2013-2025) presents new challenges for the secondary school teacher. To remain relevant and competitive, school organizations need to immediately transform into a genuine learning organization (LO). This paper discusses the latest challenges faced by the education system in Malaysia and how the practice of the LO can be a thoughtful paradigm shift to prepare school organizations to be able to face the recent and future challenges of change and transformation and ultimately enhance school performancp.
