Future of Mobile Government: An Exploratory Study on Factors Affecting Mobile User’s Intention to Adopt M-Government Services In Jordan

Abstract

Digital governance (m-government) has been driven by the advent of cellular and digital
technology. A new service channel with a mobile telephone. Many steps have been taken in
Jordan by M-government. Some of these are successful while others continue to struggle. When
technology from m-Government grows and matures, m-government experience and acceptance
contribute to its growth. The approval of m-government by consumers depends on several factors
that affect the intention of providing m-government services. The current research attempts to
establish the historical background of m-government services that are planned to be
implemented. In Amman Region, a survey was carried out with a standardized self-administered
questionnaire among 250 internet mobile users to determine certain causes. The results show that
personal initiatives and perceived value are the main factors followed by security and privacy
use, which influence the desire of mobile users to implement M-government services. No major
impact on the purpose of mobile users was ease of use and accessibility. The findings of this
research show that all advertisers and strategists who want to make full use of the power of the
government have good empirical basis this study.
