Big Data Implementation for Searching Unstructured Data Pattern as Social Media Pattern from a News Website

Abstract

News website as one of the media social for human interaction has been famous
and need by humans to catch with the latest information. In this paper, we propose
an architecture model to capture data text as unstructured data in news websites as
a social media medium for human relations. The model was applied with two subapplications where the first sub-application will capture and collect all news
content from the news website and save it into the database, and the second
application will show the searching content from the database as a collection of
news content. We also designed a database that can save the URL website, the
news title and similar words as a saving process in the first sub-application. The
algorithm was implemented in a Big Data environment using Hadoop MapReduce,
in one single node installed with Oracle Virtual Machine (VM) VirtualBox
application which was installed with Linux Ubuntu Server 14.04 LTS operating
