Abstract

This study aims to model an efficient and effective populist economic management during the Covid-19 pandemic so that it
can have a positive impact on the national economy. The Covid-19 pandemic had a huge impact on the Indonesian economy which could
risk recession. Economic activity experienced restrictions due to government policies to reduce the spread of Covid-19 through large-scale
social restrictions (PSBB). This research is a descriptive study of literature study. Sources of data obtained from scientific journals, books
to news articles that are valid and appropriate to support research which is then analyzed descriptively. The results of the study explained
that an effective community economic management model requires the participation of the government, the private sector, and the
community to work together to build mutual economic resilience. The role is done through the ownership of natural resources that control
the lives of many people by state companies, the role of policies to regulate the domestic market remains healthy. The role of the private
sector to support MSMEs develops through the allocation of CSR funds, and the community as a large domestic market to trust the quality
of products, both food and other products according to needs so as to realize national economic resilience
