The Role of Stakeholders in the Success of the Government Construction Project in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of stakeholders in the success of the project in
the government's project environment. Data was collected from 232 project stakeholders from several
types of projects in East Java, Indonesia. Data collection used proportional and purposive sampling
methods. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis is used for testing and data analysis. The results of the
study indicate that 10 stakeholders have a very positive and significant role in the success of
government-owned projects. Therefore the project manager must consider the role of these
stakeholders in implementing government-owned projects
