Abstract

Compulsive buying behavior is a well-researched topic, having renewed interest, as it is extended to varied contexts, in the today’s era of online sales and marketing. Compulsive buying behavior was introduced, notably, in the consumer research literature (Faber & O’Guinn, 1987). But, less study has been done on the emerging concept of Bargain Hunter in relation to Compulsive buying behavior, particularly on Eastern-Indian context. Also, less number of studies has done on unplanned purchase in accordance with Compulsive buying behavior. Hardly any study has been done so far on Store ambience in relation with compulsive buying behavior.
