A LITERATURE ON DIFFERENT CRYPTOGRAPHIC ALGORITHMS IN ORDER TO SECURE IMAGES

Abstract

Image encryption approaches perform a vital part in interactive media applications to protect and validate digital pictures.Images are source files that contain important information for transmission. In order to secure the image repository encryption and decryption techniques are required. The various security mechanism is developed to protect the user information that manages the security aspects like confidentiality, integrity, availability, non- repudiation, and authenticity. In this paper, we have discussed how to secure the images during transmission and an overall review of algorithms is shown in order to secure images along with various encryption and decryption criteria. This paper also covers the limitations of the various existing image encryption techniques.
