Abstract

Afghanistan is always depicted as the face of terrorism, in any case, in actuality, this war-torn country has been the survivor of outer intrusion and inside common wars that constantly broken its peace and solidness. Khaled Hosseini (B. 1965), himself being a victim of the socio-political changes, uses his first-hand experience to project the historical reality of Afghan in his novel The Kite Runner(2003).The Aim of this article is to investigate the impact of progressive change on the lives of  people by examining the accuracy and political changes that the country has experienced as reasonably portrayed in the portrayal. The intension is to show how the results of Soviet-invasion, ethnic competitions and rivalry between Pashtuns and Hazaras, the ascent of Taliban and their militant mistreatment, inevitably polluted the country's history.
