HYBRID SOURCE BASED CIRCULATING CURRENT MITIGATION USING DUAL WINDING INDUCTOR
Abstract
Multilevel CUK converter is composed of conventional voltage source converter(VSC) whereeach VSC module is connected to string of PV arrays and wind source. The main purpose of the VSC is to connect the PV plant to the grid while satisfying power quality standards. .When multilevel converters are used there is cause of circulating current. Hence to mitigate the circulating current associated with the CUK converter and the inverter(DC-AC), the VSC module is connected through dual winding inductor. The inductance design for a PV/WIND/ hybrid renewable energy system is simulated in the MATLAB/SIMULINK. should be large to reduce the circulating current.
