Abstract

The power quality event classification is significant for a power system. The wide system is monitored using different power quality monitors the data continuously and decisions were made automatically to recover contingency periods. In this regard, the power system requires a suitable event classifier to segregate the power quality events .In this article, some of the power quality events were classified using different classifiers. A Walsh transform is used to make the feature extraction and the classification is made using neural network and adaptive neural fuzzy inference system classifier. The enactment of the classifiers were applied with real time events
