Abstract

A bridge is a massive structure which serves as a connecting member between the two destination. Huge amount of man work and materials are required for the same. Because of this more efficient design and analysis are required in order to minimize the unprofitable outcomes and the errors. A cable-stayed bridge wasanalyzed in this paper and a parametric study was performed considering all the bridge parameters, such as, Pylon height, pylon diameter, pylon depth, cable diameter. The results were compared and assessed with respect to axial force, shear force, longitudinal stress, horizontal moment and displacement. CSI Bridge software was used for the analysis. The cable-stayed bridge wasanalyzed for gravity load, wind load and earthquake load.
