Abstract

This project identifies suitable learning the different aspects of a bird flight and also, we have tried to mimic the
working of a live bird by the use of some biomechanical movements that have been achieved using the motor.
Conventional method presents in today’s scenarios mostly consider bodies with propellers and jet engines which
help them to provide the lift, but here we try to use the biological method used by birds i.e. flapping of the wing. We
are trying to achieve this flapping wing mechanism by using a motor. Designing the bird, it can be used for
gathering information in the enemy territory as it has less probability of being spot. It can be used in many more
areas like to study the birds flying pattern etc. Another big advantage is like normal drones it doesn’t have
propellers which can harm the surrounding if pilot loses control therefore makes user friendly also. The rotational
motion of the bldc motor is converted into transverse motion to make the wings flap. For the study of bird flight
pattern and their habitat. Can be used for military application for gathering intelligence about the enemies behind
enemy line. Another big advantage is like normal drones it doesn’t have propellers which can harm the surrounding
if pilot loses control therefore makes user friendly also. To scare away the bird that poses a threat to the aircraft
during take off and landing.
