Direction Selection of Regional Development in Deep Poverty Minority Areas

Abstract

Ethnic areas is successful in the poverty alleviation strategy with the implementation of the “targeted poverty alleviation” strategy. However, the development of ethnic areas is still relatively backward, compared with other regions. This paper defines the scope of the deep poverty, based on the general secretary Xi Jinping's Guide to poverty alleviation in deep poverty areas. Ethnic minority areas include five aspects: the optimization of living environment, the optimization of development environment, the optimization of consumption environment, the optimization of policies, and the contribution value of regional division. This paper analyzes the direction of regional development in the deep poverty minority areas, pays attention to the effectiveness of poverty alleviation and long-lasting. We should play a role to the joint efforts of the government, the market and the social forces to lay the economic foundation for the poverty alleviation and further develop the deeply impoverished ethnic areas.
