An Analysis of Architecture and Networking Schemes of 5G Network

Abstract

With growing demands for the network, people place increasingly high requirements for new technology and the supported high-speed communication network. In this context, the limitations of the 4G network become more prominent. Now more efficient, flexible, and stable network has been the direction for developing communication technology in the new era. Therefore, there arises the opportunity for constructing the 5G network. The paper summarizes three scenarios for applying the 5G network and analyzes two mainstream deployment modes (SA and NSA) and their characteristics. It focuses on comparing the network performances, service abilities, and re-construction difficulties of these two networking modes. Lastly, it discusses the selection of the networking scheme and offers advice.
