Analysis of College English Teaching Quality Based on Data Mining Technology

Abstract

Data mining and big data application have become the main factors affecting English education. It breaks the balance of the traditional college English education ecosystem and provides a great reference for the evaluation of teaching quality. Using data mining and big data technology to build English education evaluation system and ecological environment is the main means to improve the quality of College English Teaching (CET). Based on the principle of educational ecology, this paper analyzes the interdependence and mutual restriction of various factors in College English education by using data mining and big data mining technology, aiming to build an education evaluation system and ecosystem oriented to adaptive balance adjustment. This paper points out the ways to improve CET in the era of data mining and big data from the aspects of teaching staff construction, curriculum setting, teaching mode, teaching resources and learning evaluation, and probes into the new CET mode and new means conducive to data mining and big data analysis.
