Applying Genetic Algorithm Optimization for Probability Model

Abstract

A probabilistic latent model (PLM) is used in this paper to obtain weather prediction. A genetic algorithm (GA) is an approach used to optimize the model (PLM) to obtain a new state from the model, the best number of states in the hidden model, and the probability of weather change parameters. Weather prediction has recently become a necessity due to its relation with other important areas, such as health, disease spread, travel, agriculture, and crime. The objective of the proposed work is to improve the results of the probability model to obtain accurate results. The proposed work adopts the GA–PLM approach and obtains an accurate model.
