Abstract

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) based technique is proposed in this paper to carry out the analysis on Permanent Magnet Brushless DC Motor (PMBLDC) through altering the turns as well as the winding material used in stator.  For performing the evaluation on motors field spreading a software named Infolytica ©’s electromagnetic field simulation software with the version of MagNet version 7.1 was utilized. The evaluation on field distribution of motor was performed with the help of finite element method consisting of two dimensions. Following that an analysis was carried out on electrical and geometrical factors of PMBLDC motor. With the assist of this analysis an effective system through altering the elements for PMBLDC motor is proposed in this present work. . Due to specific geometry, an FEM model of the magnet system had to be created for estimating systematic 2D calculation approach. Torque and stray loss are analytically calculated, using a 2D model, the value of these varies depending on the materials used.
