The Improvement of Tourist Intention to Revisit Bandung City Zoo Through Destination Attributes and Experience Quality

Abstract

The efforts to maintain the level of tourist visits are facing serious challenges as a result of the outbreak of the Covid19. The Bandung City Zoo, as one of the popular tourist destinations in Bandung, has had the same impact. The desire of tourists to make repeat visits is influenced by the attributes of the destination and the quality of the experience. This research aims to determine how much influence the destination attributes and experience quality have on the interest of tourists to return to the zoo in Bandung City. The research method used is the verification method with survey techniques to the population, namely tourists who have visited the zoo in Bandung City, which is represented by 100 respondents. The analytical method used is the Spearman Rank correlation, the coefficient of determination, and the T test with data analysis at the 5% significance level. The program used in analyzing the data is IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 25.0. The results showed that the destination attributes and experience quality had a positive effect on the interest of tourists to make a return visit to the Bandung City Zoo by 65% and 68%. The research recommends making arrangements in the aspect of cleanliness in tourist areas and adding forms of tourist attractions so as to provide a memorable experience for visitors.
