Abstract

The aim of the study is determination of the diagnostic efficacy of the C14
respiratory test for non-invasive diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection
Material and methods: In 40 patients with HP-associated diseases of the
gastrointestinal tract (chronic gastritis and peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcers), HP-infections
were determined by non-invasive C14 respiratory urease test. For this, HUBT-20P
(Helicobacter pylori detector) capsules with the C14 isotope were used.
Results: Studies have shown high diagnostic efficacy of the C14 respiratory test for
the primary diagnosis and monitoring of the effectiveness of eradication therapy in
relation to HP infection.
Conclusion: the use of this test to monitor the effectiveness of eradication therapy
is one of the optimal methods for non-invasive diagnosis of HP infection.
