Abstract

E-commerce-based sales systems are currently experiencing an increase, especially during a pandemic like now, e-commerce websites play an important role in improving the trading system and become part of the economic process, the advantage of making an e-commerce website is having a simple and easy menu structure. accessible, on modern websites have the ability to analyze a customer data where the data can be used to analyze customer characteristics, sales data can be used as a means and recommendations for giving discounts to each customer, so that data analysis can be quickly needed an algorithm that is able to analyze data in large numbers, the algorithm used in this study is the Apriori algorithm or also known as the basket analysis algorithm or shopping cart. In this study, an analysis and design of a web-based information system was conducted for the management of component stock. This system uses the CodeIgniter framework, bootstrap and is combined with MySQL as a database so that the program is more structured to make it easier to develop. The software development model for this information system uses the Waterfall model. The results show that the use of component stock management information systems and web-based product recommendations can assist in data storage by admin and employees, and can speed up component searches and speed up inputting of incoming and outgoing component data, automatically this e-commerce website is able provide product recommendations.
