Abstract

Today, many of our countries supply several million tons of oil products. The share of petroleum oils in this volume is very small. The generated waste oil products enter the environment, polluting and poisoning it.

The development of the global environmental crisis has posed a very important task for humanity: a new approach to solving the problem of preventing environmental pollution and creating a closed cycle of carbon dioxide. New and used lubricants with oil dispersion systems is one.

The judicious use of waste lubricants is very important from the ecological and economic point of view. The efficiency of subsequent recovery of oils with bleaching clay depends on the processing temperature and the duration of contact. Experience has shown that in most cases the contact time is 20-25 minutes at operating temperature. The maximum temperature is the temperature of the oil and clay mixture at the outlet of the furnace coil. This temperature (150-270 °) is selected depending on the viscosity and nature of the raw material. The higher the oil viscosity, the higher the temperature of the mixture. Hard heating should be avoided to prevent oil breakdown.
