Abstract

At numerous instances many soldiers have went untraced or missed during their action in war field. Also due to lack or delay in medical attention cost’s many lives in battle ground. So proper medication at right time and continuous soldier health monitoring will help to save their lives. Thus a proper support can be deployed with available newer technology, We propose a soldier health monitoring and emergency alert system to ensure the safety of war field heroes. This work is enhanced with IoBT based vitals monitoring and alert system, we ensure the proper collection of required vitals through sensors like temperature and pulse sensors to form an body area network(BAN).These collected data are processed by an microcontroller and values are pushed to cloud through ESP8266 with Message Queuing Telemetry Transport(MQTT) protocol. The flow of the work designed such that if the biosensor values are crucial or if a soldier cannot be tracked, then the nearest control base node and neighbor soldier will be alerted through partially unbalanced motor to create vibration as an alert signal. An interactive platform supports the monitoring phase with values from GPS and biosensor network gives a signal about the soldier’s physical status in Thinkspeak environment. To make the data transfer secure between the soldier and cloud, a lightweight cryptographic protocol is been utilized, these type of algorithm are best suited for resource constrained autonomous devices in continuous data monitoring environment. With these possible actions individual’s needs can be heard as an disaster call  during emergency situations. It will be big game changer in critical situations and provides new way ahead level of protection for valuable soldiers.
