Abstract

The purpose of this Study the antibacterial action of two types of nanoparticle (ZnO and CuO) to controlling the growth of isolated pathogeniic bacteriia and comparing their effects with the classical antibiotics against the bacteria. ZnO and CuO nanoparticles were simply prepared by chemical precipitation, they are characterized using X-Ray diffraction, their particle size were calculated as 41.86nm for ZnO and 26.83nm for CuO. SEM image of the synthesized  ZnO, CuO samples. The antibacterial activity of these two types of nanoparticle in controlling the growth of isolated pathogenic bacteria Staphylococcus aureus, E.coli were investigated to compare their effects with the standard antibiotics used before. Also the antibacterial activity effects of conjugated nanoparticles with some type of antibiotics which the isolating bacteria resist it also studded. It has been shown a good effect of ZnO and CuO nanoparticle in killing of bacteria which is enhanced more rapidly on conjugation with the classical antibiotics. the nanoparticle release ions interaction with group (-SH)of proteins transfers material foods who defection of bacteria cell membranes where of  decrease membranes permeable followed cell death.
