Abstract

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have many applications in various domain. Internet of things is one of the most emerging domains to use sensors node. Mostly sensors are battery-operated after some period that sensors are lifeless. Energy efficiency is a significant problem in Internet of Things assisted wireless sensor networks. So, improving network lifetime is very important operation achieved by sensors node in WSNs. In network to pick one of the nodes as cluster head using clustering technique to manage the network is main task. To consider all above lists of problems, this paper proposed an energy efficient clustering bio-inspired MST routing protocols (EECMSTR) protocol for wireless sensor network assisted Internet of Things system. Clustering formation, optimal cluster head election process using adaptive fuzzy Analytical hierarchical process and Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) using multi-criteria decision-making approach to used which is a combination of each method is introduced an effective clustering algorithm. For routing, Minimum spanning tree used to discover all the nodes and enhance the data delivery reliability.
