The Role of HR Manager in the scenario of Work from Home

Abstract

In a present scenario of work from home brings along with it lot of disruption
within the industry. Now you cannot think of traditional way of doing things as were used in
past. Now it’s mandatory for HR to revise its policies and processes according to the need. As
there is a growing need for remote working, there is a greater demand for automation and
collaboration tools and cloud computing. It is of the essence to keep employees motivated
and stimulated to achieve this future together. In such a situation, human resource department
has to focus more on ensuring adequate enablement and engagement of teams while also
preparing for a few hard decisions.
Due to COVID-19 we are facing various new challenges in our personal and professional
lives as well. The real challenge is for the HR Manager in India as there is a sudden change in
working culture. Most of India’s work was done in office and in office hours. But because of
COVID-19 business as well as employees prefers work from home. This is a great challenge
for HR to coordinate all the scattered activities of the business. This paper mainly focuses the
challenges faced by HR Manger in work from home situation and tries to find out the most
suitable solution to suit this situation.
