Abstract

Reliability is one of the quantifiable quality features of the software. To assess the reliability software
reliability growth models(SRGMS) are used at different test times based on statistical learning models. To identify errors
in small and medium sized applications Tradational time-based SRGMs may not be accurate enough in all situations.
several traditional reliability measures are used to test software errors during application development and testing. In the
software test and maintenance phase, however, new errors are taken into account in real time to determine the reliability
estimate. In this article, we propose using the S- shaped curve together with Pareto Distribution as a computational
approach to solving the problem of modeling software reliability. The proposed model suggests a new distribution model
to improve the reliability estimation process.
