Abstract

Medical images should be transmitted and received without any loss as there is much information in it. Proposed technique uses an integrated transformation for medical image reversible watermarking without any further key requirement. In existing techniques the embedding capacity very less and require additional key for extraction of original data reversibly. Proposed work uses a new hybrid technique for reversible watermarking which increases embedding capacity of algorithm. To make it more secure image watermarking we used DGT (Discrete Gould Transform) and IWT (Integer Wavelet Transform). In transmission watermark information is embedded in wavelet subbands using Discrete Gould Transform while at receiver side original image extracted with embedded watermark without any additional information. There are some properties such as capacity, robustness; reversibility and imperceptibility are all obtained for both medical images and ordinary images. The output of the proposed method is better than state of art existing techniques.
