Diverse Electro-Chemical Techniques and Applications of Aluminium with 3.5 percent Sodium Chloride Solution

Abstract

Electrochemical techniques are more beneficial nowadays to predict corrosion rate and polarisation effect on the material. Degradation of metal occurred due to the interaction of metal surface to surrounding media by chemical process results as corrosion which influences the life of the material.

In the present work, the corrosion rate of the Aluminium coupon was tested under the influence of 3.5% NaCl solution by electrochemical techniques and its applications viz, Impedance spectroscopy, Tafel plot curve and later one of custom application like polarisation resistance was presaged using Tafel slope values and results are plotted.
