Correlational study on bullying and self-esteem in 15-year-old adolescents living in Metropolitan Lima
Abstract
The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between bullying and self-esteem in 15-year-old young people living in Metropolitan Lima. The methodology used was of a quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional and non-experimental design whose population was considered infinite, counting as a sample 384 observations. The results show that there is a significant inverse relationship between the Global index of bullying (M), and the Index of general self-esteem (SM) and all the dimensions that comprise this last variable (total self-esteem, social self-esteem, household area, school area, lying scale)
