Abstract

This study was concentrated on the outcome-based education learning methodology associated to the performance of the students. It provides significance on mentors’ performance, standard of facilities and functionalities of equipment and how it supported the NC II Assessment Result. Ordinarily, the study sought answers to the following objectives, to describe the students’ performance in PC hardware servicing NC II assessment, to describe the level of the attributes of the outcome-based education and level of contribution to the performance of students in PC hardware servicing NC II assessment, to determine the attributes of the outcome-based education and level of contribution to the performance of students in PC hardware servicing NC II assessment, and to evaluate if there is a significant difference among and between mentors’ performance, standard of facilities and functionality of equipment. Moreover, quasi experimental method using Ex post facto research design were adapted and factor analysis was utilized to handle gathered data. Consequently, the factors identified from TESDA assessment tool were significantly relative to the performance of the students and equipment’s functionality prevailed over mentor’s performance and facility’s standard.
