Design of Modular Robot System Based on Modbus Fieldbus

Abstract

Because the traditional robot design is mainly for specific applications, there are many repetitive designs in the robot mechanical structure. In order to realize the robot industrialization, the modular design idea must be introduced into the robot design. This paper presents a modular structure design scheme. Taking PLC control as the core, integrating computer, mechanical transmission, sensor detection, stepping servo motor drive and network communication technology, the six modules of mechanical structure design are connected in series to complete the disassembly, debugging, operation, maintenance and maintenance of the six joint shafts. The system is practical, engineering and comprehensive. The transmission parts of the system are designed by visualization, which is easy to control, easy to program, highly active and flexible, and has a wide open space. It is an ideal object for mechanical structure teaching, motion planning and programming control system design.
