Abstract

Oil gas water three-phase flow is a common phenomenon in oilfield development. Multiphase flow measurement is an important means of oil well development. Due to the interference of gas phase, the original oil-water two-phase flow measurement technology can not meet the requirements of accurate measurement of three-phase flow. For solve the problem that the indicator accracy of oil gas water three-phase flow is not high, the oil-gas-water three-phase flow is divided into oil phase, gas phase and water phase in the pipe, and then the flow rate of each phase is measured by volume method. In this paper, the physical model of the downhole gas-liquid separation device (GLSD) was designed under the condition of low production and high water cut. On this basis, a GLSD was constructed. The gas-liquid separation efficiency at the flow rate of 20m3/d-60m3/d was obtained by using FLUENT software. The simulation results showed that the gas-liquid separation efficiency of the model was high and it had high feasibility. The research content of this paper can provide a theoretical basis for instrument development and design
